Jessica Glowa - Office Administrator, Coach and Smile Design Consultant

Jessica has been with Advanced Dental for over 8 years and brings over 12 years of sales and customer service experience to our office. She is an expert at making people feel at ease when it comes to dental care.

Jessica has helped hundreds of people afford the dental care that they deserve by assisting them in arranging comfortable payment options as well as maximizing dental insurance benefits.

Jessica also has an extensive knowledge of all the tooth whitening products available today. If you're interested in having a whiter, brighter smile, Jessica will be happy to explain the different ways you can go about doing it!

She enjoys meeting new people and helping patients understand their dental treatment. When she is not working she enjoys traveling with her husband, physical fitness and reading.

Edyta Pliszka - Registered Dental Hygienist and Smile Design Consultant

Edyta was a microbiology major at UCONN with a sound background in science.

She is concentrated on patient education and prevention within the office. She promotes a gentle and comfortable approach to dentistry. Edyta is very knowledgeable, motivated, and devoted to optimum patient care.

She enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and family and most importantly her son Sebastian.

Stacey Ehlers - Registered Dental Hygienist and Smile Design Consultant

Stacey was a dental assistant for 6 years in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery as well as general dentistry, before pursuing career in dental hygiene. She received an Associate degree from Middlesex Community College and went on to receive her Dental Hygiene degree from the University Of Bridgeport Fones School Of Dental Hygiene in 2003. She is certified to administer local anesthesia and has found comfortable techniques that have made some patients ask if was going to start...but she was already done! Stacey has been studying for her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene which she will be receiving in May 2008. She is currently teaching part time at Briarwood College as adjunct clinic faculty for the dental hygiene program which she absolutely loves!! She has extensive cosmetic training and has an exceptional talent in seeing the smile nature intended people to have, and finding unique ways to achieve it! Having been exposed to many facets of dentistry, she realizes that cosmetic dentistry is the only profession for her, simply because she loves helping people change their lives through their smiles. Stacey has worked in several unique locations including the U.S.V.I. After college she picked up and moved to St. Thomas where she practiced dental hygiene in between beach sessions and loved every moment of that little adventure. For the last 2 years, she worked in Atlanta, in a dental practice focused specifically on the art of cosmetic dentistry where she learned to transform eager patients smiles from drab to fab! In her free time she enjoys long walks on the beach and deep sea fishing. She has a Bassett Hound and an English Bulldog as well as a 75 gallon reef tank which takes up lots of her spare time. In the summer you can find her on the tides of the Rhode Island waters with a fishing rod in one hand and tanning lotion in the other soaking up the sun and emptying out the waters!! She is a die hard fisher woman and one day plans to retire with a charter boat and a map! She is currently single and is an equal opportunity dater searching for Mr. Righteous. :)

Tracy Orofino - Certified Dental Assistant and Smile Design Consultant

Tracy attended Briarwood College where she is certified as a dental assistant and front desk associate. She has been with the office since June 2004. Tracy is great at making patients feel comfortable and relaxed while visiting our office. She has become an expert in orthodontic assisting. Tracy likes to travel and loves the summer time. She enjoys going to the beach and cruising down the Connecticut River with her family on their boat and jet skis. She also spends time with her boyfriend in Vermont driving their quads and snowmobiling. Tracy and her mother are New York Yankee fans and love traveling to the Bronx to see baseball games at least 3 to 4 times a year. She really enjoys meeting new people and having fun each day at Advanced Dental.

Sue Baldini - Certified Dental Assistant and Smile Design Consultant

Sue is the most recent member to join the Advanced Dental team as a dental assistant.  She is a graduate from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a graduate from Bay Path College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.  She has also received a Certificate in Dental Assisting from Tunxis Community College. 

Sue has attended many seminars and continuing education classes for cosmetic dentistry.  She has received certificates in the Esthetic Advantage Courses from NYU.  She looks forward to working with the very talented doctors and staff members of the Advanced Dental team.

When Sue isn't working at the practice she is a dance instructor / choreographer and teaches over one hundred students.  She also loves spending time with her boyfriend Kevin, shopping and going to the beach.

Trisha McCarn - Certified Dental Assistant and Smile Design Consultant

Trisha has been assisting since 2002. She brings experience and enthusiasm to our team. She started in the dental field as a hygiene assistant in New York and that's where she knew that she wanted to be in the dental field. She loves taking continuing education classes and has multiple certifications from DANBE and Tufts University. Trisha has an AS in science and is currently taking classes to fulfill her nursing requirements. Patient care is Trisha's passion, she specializes on making the patient feel comfortable and confident in their dental care.

While walking down the hallways of Advanced Dental, you can hear Trishas' angelic voice singing to any song any time. She loves road trips, camping, and The Dave Matthews Band. She is addicted to the show Lost and has never missed an episode. If it is a weekend afternoon, you will find Trisha in front of a TV cheering on the best team in sports history, the New York Yankees.
